18th Annual Tai Chi Training at Handan

On behalf of the Taichi Federation of India, we are proud to share that Ravi and Siva had the distinguished opportunity to participate in the 18th Annual Training Session of the World Yongnian Taijiquan, held in Handan City, China. The training was conducted under the esteemed guidance of Grandmaster James Fu Qingquan, a globally respected authority in Authentic Yang Style Taijiquan.

This international training program proved to be a truly unforgettable experience—both physically demanding and intellectually enriching. The sessions were designed to challenge the participants at every level, pushing the boundaries of physical endurance, mental focus, and internal awareness. Each day brought deeper insights into the principles, philosophy, and refined techniques of traditional Yang Style Taichi, rooted in the rich heritage of Yongnian, the birthplace of this profound martial art.

Under the precise and disciplined instruction of Master Fu, Ravi and Siva were able to refine their posture, improve energy flow (Qi), and better understand the internal mechanics that distinguish authentic Taijiquan from modern interpretations. The emphasis on balance, relaxation, rootedness, and mindful movement elevated their practice to a new level of clarity and depth.

Beyond the technical training, the experience also fostered cultural exchange and camaraderie among practitioners from different parts of the world. The warm hospitality of the local people in Handan added a special dimension to the journey, making it not only a learning experience but also a memorable cultural immersion.

This participation marks a significant milestone for the Taichi Federation of India, reinforcing our commitment to promoting authentic Taijiquan and bringing global knowledge back to our practitioners in India. Ravi and Siva return with renewed inspiration, deeper understanding, and a strong dedication to share these invaluable learnings with fellow students and enthusiasts.
